i'm sure you may have questions

Just in case I can save you a little time in your busy wedding-planning schedule, here are some questions brides typically ask:

In most cases, I like to have a second photographer with me because unfortunately, I can’t be in more than one place at a time. It helps to have a second person get other angles at the ceremony and be able to photograph cocktail hour while I’m doing all the family photos. I’ve found that by time we get to the reception, a second photographer is redundant so I usually send them home after first dances and toasts!

how do i know if i need a second photographer? are they included in your packages?

For engagement and bridal sessions, you'll usually receive your images in an online gallery within three weeks. For your wedding, you'll get a pretty package in the mail 6-8 weeks later.

How long after the session do we get to see the photos?

Every wedding is so different, it’s hard to know exactly how many images you’ll receive. The general rule of thumb is 50–100 edited images per hour of shooting. For an 8-hour wedding, I usually end up giving 600–700 photos. And I don’t withhold: I give you every good, usable image that isn’t a duplicate of another image.

How many images do you deliver? Do we get every image you take?

Yes! I love the timeless, romantic quality of film and use it any time we’re outside. I always shoot digital backups of my film images and during the reception, it’s all digital, baby! I am one of those people who love to learn (read: nerd), so I’m constantly improving my film game and digital game.

Do you shoot digital and film?
